St. Agrestis
I’ve been working with St. Agrestis since 2020, primarily focusing on packaging design for their now-iconic Phony Negroni. As the non-alcoholic cocktail surged in popularity, it paved the way for an entire line of ‘Phony’ cocktails. My collaboration with the brand actually began just before this mocktail moment, with the creation of the Bag-in-Box Negroni. That project later expanded to include Bag-in-Box designs for the Negroni, Black Manhattan, and Boulevardier. The line received notable recognition, with features in The New York Times, Forbes, Food & Wine, and Bon Appétit.
My Contributions:
Collaboration with the producer of St. Agrestis
Working with existing branding assets and a variety of dielines to create multiple design layouts (bottles, cans, boxes etc.)
Using creative freedom to pick colors & layout styling
Exportation and recycling of designs for future cocktail boxes
The Process
The packaging process begins by placing existing brand assets into the correct die-line, then refining the layout as key information is prioritized and emphasized. Once the final design is established—whether for bottle labels, cans, or box packaging—I can use it as a foundation to create consistent designs for related products.
